Goals of the Centre for European Policy Studies

It also aims to provide a forum for discussion among the stakeholders in the European policy process in the policy, to build collaborative networks of researchers, policymakers and business representatives across the whole of Europe and to disseminate our findings and views through a regular flow of publications and public events.

The energy, climate change and sustainable development program is one of several research programs, which cover economic and social welfare policies, EU neighborhood, foreign and security policy, financial markets and institutions, justice and home affairs, politics and european institutions, regulatory policy and trade developments and agricultural policy.

History of the Centre for European Policy Studies

CEPS is a non-profit international association, organized under Belgian laws and governed by their statutes.

CEPS' funding is obtained from a variety of sources, including membership fees, project research, foundation grants, conferences fees, publication sales and an annual grant from the European Commission.

The CEPS board is composed of independent personalities with broad research and policy experience, and each member represents their individual views only. The board provides the strategic direction of the organization and supervises its independence, the work of the management team and the financial performance of the organization. CEPS professes a deep commitment to institutional and intellectual independence, rooted in the individual independence of its scholars. Thus, CEPS does not take positions on issues.
