Even though Miranda got her start as a science writer, covering various subjects for publications like Discover magazine and Phys.org, she's specialized in personal finance, investing, and the markets for more than 10 years. 

Miranda has contributed to a variety of media outlets as a writer and as an expert, including for Forbes, NPR, Marketwatch, Yahoo! Finance, Entrepreneur, CNBC, FOX Business, HuffPost, and more. She has appeared on TV, radio, and in print to talk about money, the markets, and politics. In addition to her work as a freelance journalist, Miranda also co-hosts a successful investing podcast and is involved in local politics. 

Education

Miranda received her BS in Communications from the Southern Utah University and earned her Master's degree in journalism from Syracuse University.
