Experience

Dina Zipin began her writing career in 2008 as a development executive for Inferno Entertainment, where she wrote coverage of scripts and books.  She leverages her academic background as an English Language and Literature graduate to write and edit for various sources and publications. Dina's areas of expertise include branding, marketing, business finance, and health. For more than 10 years, she has worked as a freelance writer and editor with works featured in Forbes, Marie Claire, and NPR's Marketplace.

In 2010, Dina created the widely acclaimed blog "Bureaucracy for Breakfast", which was featured on Chelsea Handler's Borderline Amazing Production and ABC's 20/20. She is the author of "Brokenomics" and several comic books about Marilyn Monroe and Elizabeth Taylor.  In addition, Dina has also written for several popular publications, such as The Hairpin, Jezebel, and Refinery29. In 2015, she wrote and directed the award-winning short film "Archer House". Currently, she is the Head Writer/Creative Strategist for American digital media company Uproxx Studios.

Education

Dina graduated summa cum laude from the University of California with a bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature/Letters. She also earned a MFA in Film Production from the University of Southern California.
