Experience

Jonathan Barker has been working in the technology industry for more than five years. He is currently in sales with Microsoft, where he works with clients to build cloud solutions for their web-based and mobile apps. He draws on his interest in technology and finance, and has written in different publications. Jonathan has served in the armed forces as a commander and platoon leader at Fort Carlson, Colorado, and in Iraq, where he led groups of troops and oversaw the deployment of millions of dollars worth of equipment.

Jonathan has a passion for crowd funding and peer to peer investing. He has written in the MIT Entrepreneurship Review on the Open Data movement and a startup involved in the space. He has experience unlocking the value of customer relationship data for the sales team at the Phoenix Suns.

Education

Jonathan graduated with an MBA in entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial studies from the MIT Sloan School of Management. He also holds an undergraduate degree in philosophy from West Point Academy.
