Experience
Manoj is a career civil servant who has worked for the Central Bank of India since 1989. Through his work at the bank, he became interested in learning about investment and started an independent study of the subject. Manoj would later complete the requirements and receive his Master Business Administration (MBA) in 2011.
Manoj began contributing to Investopedia in 2010. His writing focuses on the areas of international investing, financial analysis, and investing strategies. He is the author of the book Bulls, Bears, and the Tortoise (Leadstart, 2014) which looks at basic concepts to give the reader an understanding of market risks and how to avoid them. Manoj's work also appears in the Journal of Portfolio Management, and in syndication on Forbes.
Manoj has extensive experience covering the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE), the two primary stock exchanges of India.
Education
Manoj earned his Master of Business Administration in Banking and Marketing at the National Institute of Business Management.
