Ken Hawkins has considerable knowledge in many facets of investment management, gained through more than 25 years of experience in many roles within the investment industry, including portfolio management, investment consulting, quantitative research, and investment strategy.

Ken is the founder of Ohow Investor Consultants, a private investment office set up to help investors manage their portfolios by providing custom-made investment solutions to meet each client's unique requirements.

Ken has worked as a portfolio manager for one of the largest pension plans in Canada and managed an equity portfolio using quantitative strategies. As a quantitative analyst and strategist with a leading investment dealer, his primary investment research interests were in long-term market cycles, tactical asset allocation, and sector rotation strategies. He has also worked as an investment advisor providing investment and financial advice to individual families and clients.

Ken is the co-author of 'The New Rules for Retirement: What Your Financial Advisor Isn't Telling You'. He is a contributor to Investopedia where he writes about applying the investment principles and strategies used by professional managers to individual investors.

Ken graduated with a bachelor's degree in computer science and an MBA from the University of Manitoba.
