The National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO) is a membership organization representing more than 1,900 colleges and universities across the country.

The National Association of College and University Business Officers is headquartered in Washington, D.C. and can assist educational institutions with many aspects of campus administration. It also offers various professional development programs, networking opportunities and news bulletins. Members can also access a wide range of online educational and research products.

Through its advocacy efforts, community service and professional development activities, the association aims to advance the economic fortitude, business practices and support so higher education institutions can attain their missions.

Institutionally based, the NACUBO runs June 1 through May 31 of the next year. Member institutions qualify for benefits, including discounted products and services. Students and retired business officers may purchase individual memberships. 

With boots on the ground on Capitol Hill, NACUBO’s advocacy group stays up to date on pertinent issues and legislation that will impact professional educators and administrators.

Through its members-only bulletin, the Washington D.C.-based association stays up to date on issues on Capitol Hill that are pertinent to officers. Institutions that comprise the NACUBO include: community colleges, comprehensives and doctoral institutions, research universities and small institutions.

NACUBO also recognizes members through a comprehensive awards program.
