Farnoosh Torabi, one of America’s leading personal finance authorities, got her start in financial news as a news producer on NY1 News, 24-hour news station on cable. She continued her television work at TheStreet.com TV for almost three years and wrote two financial columns for AM New York for six years. After hosting “Financially Fit,” a Webby-nominated webcast on Yahoo! for three years, Farnoosh was a contributing editor to Money and a senior contributor to Daily Worth.

Today, Farnoosh reaches her audience through several types of media. She is the author of several books, including When She Makes More, Psych Yourself Rich and You’re So Money. On her award-winning podcast, “So Money,” she talks with celebrities about their financial habits and shares her findings with her audience. She writes a financial column for O, The Oprah Magazine, contributes to the “Today Show” and talks with leading entrepreneurs, like Gary Vaynerchuk, John Paul DeJoria and Tracy Anderson, about their philosophies and drive as host of “Follow the Leader” on CNBC.

Education

Farnoosh graduated from Penn State with a degree in finance and international Business, and earned her master’s degree from Columbia University.
