Lawrence Pines has 25 years of experience as an equity and foreign exchange options trader for multinational banks, proprietary trading groups and market maker firms. Mr. Pines has traded on the NYSE, CBOE and Pacific Stock Exchange as an options market maker and for Chase Manhattan Bank and Bank of New York as an OTC market maker. In 2011, Mr. Pines started his own consulting firm through which he advises hedge funds, law firms and other investment professionals on issues related to capital markets, trading, and derivatives.

Lawrence's recent work includes advising a multi-strategy Asian hedge fund on electronic trading platforms and an Australian mutual fund on foreign exchange trading strategies. In addition, he recently served as an expert witness on options trading for several trials related to the Bernie Madoff Ponzi scheme.

Education

Lawrence is a graduate of Princeton University, earning his Bachelor's degree in Philosophy.
