Experience

In 2012, Eric founded Petroff the Petroff Institutional investment advisory firm. He specializes in consulting institutional clients in areas such as marketing, research, and finance. Early in his career, he worked as a senior institutional consultant at Hammond and Associates and as the Director of Research and Chief Strategist for Wurts & Associates.

A CFA chartholder since 2000 and member of the CFA Institute, Eric taught CFA review courses and served as an expert contributor for Becker Professional Review's CFA study materials. From 2007-08, Eric served as the President of the CFA Society of St. Louis. Using his extensive professional experience and subject matter expertise, Eric has written a multitude of articles and blogs on various financial matters. He also served as president of the St. Louis CFA Society and chairmanĀ of its Education Committee.

Education

Eric has an MBA with an emphasis in finance from Webster University, and a bachelor's degrees in economics and Russian from DePauw University.
