Experience

Zoe Van Schyndel is a columnist, author, and lecturer with more than 33 years of experience in finance and investments. Early in her career, she worked as a New England branch chief with the Securities and Exchange Commission, where she oversaw the regulatory oversight of investment advisors and mutual funds. Over the years, she also served as Senior Vice President for KLD Research & Analytics, managing director for SSgA, and as a finance instructor at the University of Miami. She is the author of The Pharoah's Fund and The Dolphin Fund and is a contributing columnist to the Motley Fool. Teaching entrepreneurship, business foundations, and sustainable investments, Zoe lectures at Evergreen State College. Aside from her professional duties, she is a member of the CFA Institute.
