CareCredit has become a widely used option when it comes to paying for medical procedures, primarily procedures not typically covered by health insurance. One of the most useful aspects of the CareCredit card is it can be used for multiple instances, multiple times and even for multiple people.

CareCredit openly permits and encourages the account holder to utilize the card to finance various treatments and procedures that may not even involve the account holder directly. This means that, not only can the card be used for the account holder's procedures, it can also be used as a method of payment for the account holder's family members and even pets. How Does CareCredit Work?

After obtaining a monetary quote for the procedure requiring payment, the next step is to go to CareCredit's website and utilize its payment calculator. This gives the account holder an idea as to the amount of the monthly payment, depending on the span of time into which it is broken up. If the entire balance of the cost is paid off within the promotional period, there is no interest paid. However, if the account holder requires a lower monthly payment and, therefore, needs to extend the number of months for payment, interest accrues accordingly.

Does the Account Holder Require Approval With Each Use of the Card?

Once an account holder is approved for the CareCredit credit card, the card can be used multiple times without the need to constantly reapply.

If the account holder uses the card to pay for an uncovered skin treatment and then needs to use it for a pet's veterinary procedure or a child's cosmetic dental treatment a year later, they can use the card without worry.
