(3) Do you have the desire to do the research, recordkeeping, and tax reporting for the investments and planning?

The worst outcome is for those who do nothing; not hiring an advisor or not doing it on their own. People hire a financial advisor because they don’t have the knowledge, desire or simply want to do something else with their spare time and weekends instead of managing their financial plan or investments.
